OUR POLICIES

Welcome, and thank you for choosing Lakeside Pines Campground as your camping destination. In order to camp together in a close community, it is necessary to be considerate of other campers and the property on which you expect to enjoy your vacation. Lakeside Pines is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to ask those whose conduct, in our opinion, is causing a disturbance, endangering life in any way, interfering with the orderly operation, or breaking the policies of our campground to leave the premises.  Refunds, under those circumstances, will not be granted. 

  • PAYMENTS - A 50% deposit for stays of 5 days or more and 100% for 4 days or less is required to book your stay. Final payment is due upon arrival and check-in. Refunds cannot be given for early departure. Deposits are due by February 1st, with any remaining balance due upon arrival and check-in. Deposits are nonrefundable 45 days’ before your arrival date for campsites and 65 days for rental units.  Any modification to or cancellation of your reservation must be done by telephone – it may not be done online.  A $   20       cancellation fee may be assessed before your deposit becoming nonrefundable. There are no refunds for early departures or due to discomforts or acts of nature,  inclement weather, or any other reason. You will be required to deliver an additional security deposit if your reservation is of a Cottage, Rental Trailer or The House. Unless we hear from you, your failure to arrive and check-in on a scheduled date will result in the forfeiture of your deposit, and your campsite.

  • CHECK OUT TIME: For the Cottages and Rental Trailers is 9AM.  For the House is 10AM.  For campsites is 11AM.  Failure to check out on time will result in a fee of one day’s stay.

  • CHECK IN TIME for Cottages, Rental Trailers and Campsites is 1PM. NOTE: Check-in time for The House is 3 pm.

  • QUIET TIME is Strictly Enforced from 11 PM to 7 AM. Please keep voices and lights low.  Excessive noise at any time is not permitted.  In the event that staff informs a site of quiet hour violation and any site occupant refuses to cooperate, all of the occupants of the site will be subject to eviction from the campground without refund.

  • SPEED LIMIT. The speed limit inside the campground property is 5MPH. 

  • ONE CAMPER AND ONE FAMILY PER SITE - family consists of two adults and their dependents

  • GUESTS must register at the office. $8 daily fee - $15 overnight fee.

  • BICYCLES, scooters, skateboards and other micromobility vehicles, as well as unregistered motorized vehicles including ATVs, mini-bikes, dune buggies and motorized ride-on toys, are not permitted on the campground roads.

  • VEHICLES - Only ONE vehicle to be parked at a campsite - Additional vehicles must be parked out front by the main entrance. Vehicles not displaying parking passes risk being towed at owner’s expense.

  • FIREWORKS, Chinese Lanterns, Firearms, Archery Equipment, and illegal or illicit Drugs are NOT PERMITTED anywhere on campground property.  

  • CANNABIS - Smoking, vaping and the use (including ingestion of edibles) of cannabis anywhere on the campground property is prohibited. NOTE, however, accommodations will be made for medical marijuana card holders.  Please contact management about appropriate areas to consume, and be prepared to present your medical marijuana card upon request.

  • FIRES are allowed in existing fireplaces. Fires must be COMPLETELY out and doused with water no later than 11 PM, or anytime you are away from your site. Do NOT burn trash. No Out-of-State firewood allowed - it’s against Maine law (to prevent the spread of insects)!  

  • TREES - Do not cut any trees or limbs down.  Cutting and/or foraging our land for firewood is strictly forbidden.

  • RUBBISH - Please bag and tie all garbage and deposit in the designated trash areas. No loose trash, ashes or large items, such as TV’s, refrigerators, mattresses etc. Please see the office if you have any questions. 

  • RECYCLABLES - There are receptacles provided in trash areas for recyclables. If any questions, see the office.

  • PETS are allowed. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and are never to be left unattended.  Owners must promptly collect all pet waste. Dogs that act aggressively, or that excessively bark are prohibited, and you may be required to leave the campground with no refund, at our sole discretion. No pets are allowed in the store, on the beaches or in the water. Dogs should be walked on the Island Point and Tall Pine roads away from campsites. All pets on premises must have an up-to-date rabies vaccination. Pets are the sole responsibility of their owner and the campground is not liable for the pet's behavior toward others. 

  • AIR CONDITIONING/ELECTRIC HEATERS are NOT allowed due to power constraints. Generators are prohibited anywhere on the campground property.

  • ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES must be concealed at all times and stored in a secure spot. No underage (i.e., under 21 years of age) consumption of alcoholic beverages will be permitted.

  • No Glass Bottles on the beach

  • SMOKING and vaping are prohibited from Beaches, playground and docks do not drop butts on the ground

  • CHILDREN i.e., under 18 years of age) must be at campsites by 10:59 PM. Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior, safety and whereabouts at all times while within the campground. 

  • WALKING through other campsites is not allowed.

LPC, LLC assumes no responsibility for the use of its grounds and facilities. 

LPC, LLC assumes no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property occurring to anyone while on its grounds or in its facilities.

All campers understand there are inherent risks involved in activities provided by the campground. To the extent permitted by law, I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, an/or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, covenant not to sue, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless LPC, LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents (collectively the "Indemnified Parties") from any and all liability, loss, property damages, claim, demands, and possible causes of action (including all costs and attorney's fees incurred by the Indemnified Parties in enforcing this reservation agreement), that may otherwise accrue from any loss, damage, or injury (including death) to my person or property, in anyway resulting from, or arising in connection with, or related to my use of the campground property, whether or not such injury, loss, or death is caused by negligence or from any other cause.
